AI lecture on digital learning that requires pedagogical change

Sarah Prestridge, visiting professor from Griffith University in Australia, will give a lecture on 22 September on how two new digital systems can finally enable real change in schools. These are online-based and flexible learning pathways and generative AI, which shifts the power of learning to the students. These systems are reshaping teaching roles, pedagogical methods and fundamental beliefs about knowledge. Sarah will discuss how teachers' reasoning and pedagogical beliefs are evolving and adapting to these changes.

The lecture is organised by the AI network JAINe (Jönköping University AI Network for opportunities across disciplines). It will take place 12:15-13.00 in room B4043 at Jönköping International Business School (JIBS).
