Digital meeting COO- research

Welcome to a digital research networking meeting on April 8th from 4:00–5:30 PM. The presenter is Bob Rosier, a researcher at FISABIO in Valencia. He will present his research entitled: “The effects of nitrate-rich vegetables on the oral microbiota: implications for dental and cardiovascular health.”

Bob finished his Ph.D. in 2022 for his work on nitrate and oral health at FISABIO, Valencia and has since continued as a postdoctoral researcher in the same group. He has published several scientific articles mainly in Q1 journals, with extensive international collaborations and five patent applications. His expertise is in bacterial cultures and biofilms, molecular and microbiome techniques, confocal microscopy and bioinformatics. Bob willbe involved in a new research project at the School of Health and Welfare during the spring of 2026.

Title: Based on the working paper “Sustainable Migrant Entrepreneurship: A Systematic Review and Critical Discussion” (attached)

Description: This study reviews research at the intersection of migrant entrepreneurship and sustainability. Migrant sustainable entrepreneurship refers to ventures initiated or led by migrants that intentionally address environmental and/or social challenges while pursuing economic viability. The paper highlights how migrant entrepreneurs operate under resource constraints while simultaneously fostering empowerment and navigating structural tensions.

Welcome to the Swedish Conference in Economics 2026

The ninth edition of the Swedish Conference in Economics will take place at Jönköping International Business School on 20–21 November 2026.
The Swedish Economic Association organises the conference in collaboration with the Department of Economics, Finance and Statistics at Jönköping International Business School, Jönköping University.

The conference welcomes submissions in all fields of economics and is open to researchers at all career stages – from PhD students and postdoctoral researchers to senior scholars. The programme will feature a mix of shorter and longer presentations.

The conference is free of charge. Partial funding for travel and accommodation is available. If necessary, priority will be given to early-career scholars.

Non-presenting participants are also warmly welcome to attend. All attendees are invited to a conference dinner on 20 November at the Science Towers.

The conference language is English.
Deadline for abstract submission: 15 May 2026.
